What You’ll Learn

Participants will gain hands-on experience in recognising and responding to medical emergencies, including:

CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) for infants and children
AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use for young children
Managing choking and airway obstructions
Recognising and treating allergic reactions and anaphylaxis
Handling asthma and respiratory emergencies
Controlling bleeding and responding to shock
Managing burns, fractures, head injuries, and concussions

Exams & Certification

Participants will be assessed throughout the course to ensure they meet all learning objectives.
Upon successful completion, learners will receive an FAIB-accredited Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification.

I recently attended skills training group for a first aid at work course. They were rhe cheapest by miles. The venue was easy to access and plenty parking at. The trainer Allan King is like rain man! No power point, handouts, paperwork from beginning to end it was all from memory. Really interactive having a go at cpr, recovery position. Great course that I hopefully don't need to use but I feel far more confident if I had to help
